This amazing dipped salad bowl set from Wind & Willow jumped on my wishlist as soon as I saw their line at Neighborly.

For the past few months, I have been slowly amassing a small collection of makeup from the Addiction by Ayako line from Japan.  Ayako is an amazing makeup artist, formerly with NARS, who has created her own line.  This summer she did a line inspired by Jean-Michel Basquiat, so obviously I had to pick up a couple of the compacts – Tuxedo Moon and Sugar Rusk.  They are so amazing.  Even without their Basquiat covers, I would order these again.  Beautifully made, neutral, perfectly textured eye shadows.  I also have a couple of her Matte Lip Crayons and those are pretty amazing too.   All of the line is difficult to get a hold of in the US, since there are only counters for the line in Japanese department stores.  The only way to buy it appears to be through Ichibankao (with a price markup, sadly).  But I’m addicted now…so…

I’ve only made two purchases for my summer wardrobe this year, but I’m in love with them both.  I love my black Ray-ban Wayfarers, but I have been dreaming about a pair of Norma Kamali cat eye sunglasses for quite a while.  I finally picked up a pair on sale over the Memorial Day weekend and they are pretty near perfect.  Now, I might need to get my prescription popped into these as well.

Buying sandals (and clothes and jewelry and pretty much everything, actually) has always been frustrating for me since I have pretty strict requirements regarding comfort, minimalism, style and color.  So when I stumbled into these inexpensive  jelly sandals in an unlikely place, I was pretty thrilled.  They come in loads of colors in store, but of course I bought them in white and black.
